“Hey, uhh, fellas. I think your girlfriend’s taking care of it.”

I love this part. The dudes are all, “How are we gonna get this done?” & Suki’s all, “Shit’s been handled. Let me know when you’re ready to get out of here.”

One of my favorite things about A:TLA is how it shows women and girl being BAMF and kicking ass better than the boys.

A conversation with my daughter on boys, and how you shouldn't be flattered when they are invading your space.

  • Daughter: Yeah, I know what to do if someone is picking on me. I tell them "Please stop doing that." If they don't listen, I can use my hands.
  • Me: No, you tell them to stop. If they do it again you tell them "Stop doing that or I will punch you." They do it again, that's when you punch them. See, you warned them it was going to happen. They have to learn that there are consequences to their actions, because clearly their parents didn't teach them.
  • Daughter: Yeah, I'll be their teacher. I'll teach them about consequences. I'll show them the ways of their errors. *fist raised*
